Updated: Aug 10, 2022

You will need:

For the ‘Cold Brew’ method:

  • Loose leaf Moroccan Mint tea

  • Ice cubes

  • Lemonade

  • A bottle

  • A strainer

  • Cocktail glasses

  • Mint & lime to garnish

  • (If you’re making a cocktail, you will need an alcohol of your choice - we would recommend using rum or vodka with this recipe!)

For the ‘Quick’ method:

  • Loose leaf Moroccan Mint tea

  • Ice cubes

  • Lemonade

  • A strainer

  • A kettle

  • A heatproof jug

  • Cocktail glasses

  • Mint & lime to garnish

  • (If you’re making a cocktail, you will need an alcohol of your choice - we would recommend using rum or vodka with this recipe!)

Makes: 1 to 8 Glasses

Two glasses full of a Moroccan Mint tea infused mojito mocktail with mint and lime to garnish. The glasses are sat on a sunny garden brick wall.

Method 1: The ‘Cold Brew’ Method

  1. Start by adding the Moroccan Mint tea (roughly 1 heaped teaspoon per person) to as much lemonade as needed (roughly 250ml per person)

  2. Steep in the fridge for between 1 and 12 hours depending on desired strength

  3. Strain the lemonade, pour over a glass of ice, and garnish with lime & mint

  4. Enjoy!

Method 1: The ‘Quick’ Method

  1. Start by steeping the Moroccan Mint tea (roughly 1 heaped teaspoon per person) in freshly boiled water (roughly 100ml per person) for 4 minutes

  2. Strain your tea and top up the ‘tea concentrate’ with chilled lemonade

  3. Pour over a glass of ice, and garnish with lime & mint

  4. Enjoy!

Making a cocktail 🍹:

  1. Follow one of the above methods to infuse your lemonade

  2. Add the infused lemonade, ice, garnish, and alcohol to a shaker

  3. Shake vigorously for two minutes

  4. Pour over a glass of ice

  5. Enjoy!

Top Tip! If you wanted to take your cocktail one step further, you can infuse your alcohol with the tea instead by adding the Moroccan Mint tea to your bottle of alcohol and allowing it to infuse for a few days.
